coast2coast Customer Rally 2022
We had a fantastic time at our customer rally earlier this month!
This year’s event was held at the The Gate Hangs High, located on the edge of the Cotswolds. A simple pub site, suitable for camping, with picturesque views of the Oxfordshire countryside. Close by were Oxford, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stratford Upon Avon.
The sun was shining and we had a schedule of activities planned for our customers! With everyone arriving from midday, once settled and pitched up we started off the event with some introductory prosecco and orange juice, which went down a treat alongside, some outdoor activities and running tombola!
After lunch we headed off as a group down through the picturesque local village to Hook Norton Brewery where we were very well looked after. This provided an opportunity for us to capture some of the most amazing views of the Cotswolds before settling down to sample some of the local delights and for our customers to meet and engage with one another more intimately. We were even treated to a visit from two award winning Shire Horses, which the children loved! With everyone having such fun it seemed only right to extend this activity further into the afternoon before a leisurely stroll back.
On our return to camp tea and biscuits were provided as we regrouped for a game or two of welly wangling and Bingo where everyone competitive streak shone through! Fortunately, we stayed away from the surrounding campervans with the furthest welly throw reaching 20 feet!
Whilst everyone departed for dinner at their leisure, either cooking in their campervans, BBQing or a planned evening meal at The Gate Hangs High, those who stayed outdoors were able to enjoy some party music, which got the kids up dancing before the Live Band came on to play inside the pub to take us all into the wee hours.
We have received such great feedback from all those who attended this year’s event, and we can’t wait to undertake a similar event again next year! We are delighted to hear of the many new friendships formed.
